Who invented plastic ?

 Today plastics are every where ,all of this plastics, which invented from one small object that isn't made of plastic called billiard balls.

In 1863 an American named John Wesley Hyatt took this challenge,over the next five year he invented a new material called (celluloid) a compound found in wood and straw .

Hyatt soon discovered the celluloid couldn't solve the problem because it wasn't heavy enough and didn't bounce quite right but it could be tinted and pattern to mimic more expensive material like,coral ,tortoiseshell, amber ,and mother of pearl ,he had created what became known as the first plastic. The word plastic can be described any material made of polymers which are just large molecules consist of the same repeated subunit, this includes all human made plastic as well as many of the materials found in living things .despite taking the first prize of official plastic celluloid was highly flammable,which made production risky that couldn't lasted for long ,soon after inventors began to hunt for alternatives .in 1907 a chemist combined (phenol) a waste product of coal tar , with (formaldehyde) created the highly new power called (bakelite) .

It was much less flammable then celluloid,and it was the only beginning,in 1920 researchers first commercially developed (polystyrene) a spongy plastic use in insulation,soon after came (vinyl),and (acrylic) ,in 1930 nyloin took senior stage . in 1935 polyethylene became one of the most versatile plastic,still use today to make Every things .

 withing just just a few decades this multifaceted material assured and what became known as the plastic century , while this plastic century brought envying coast, effectiveness and also created straging environment problems .many plastic are made of non removable resources ad plastic packaging is designing to be single use, but some plastic take centuries to decompose and creating a huge build up of waste,this century will have to concentrate on invention by reducing the plastic use developing the biodegradable plastic and find a new way to recycle exist plastic.
